Kawabanga Pole Spears

Kawabanga pole spears come in two types:  the "Hapa" or half aluminum / half graphite;  and the all graphite.

The "Hapa" is a unique combination of speed and power that you won't find in most pole spears.  This model features a 3/8" graphite rod inserted into 1/2" aluminum tubing with a wall thickness of 1/16".  Each spear also features a 16" long, spring steel three-prong spear head.  Each prong is 13" long and 3/16" in diameter making it longer than most three-prong spear heads.  The longer prongs make for a wider spread on contact making sure that the fish is secured further down the prongs.  The front graphite smaller diameter section makes it easier to maneuver through the water while the aluminum back half still gives it the punch of an aluminum spear.  Sizes:  6' (Price:  $61.99), 7' (Price:  $63.99), 7 1/2' (Price: $65.99), 8' (Price:  67.99), 8 1/2' (Price: $69.99), 9' (Price: $71.99) and 10' (Price: $89.99).

The single piece graphite shaft model is all about speed.  The graphite model features a 3/8" graphite rod with the 16" Kawabanga spring steel spear head.  The Kawabanga graphite will be one of the most maneuverable pole spears underwater as well as the fastest.  Sizes:  6' (Price:  $47.99), 7' (Price:  $55.99) and 8' (Price:  $61.99).

B.A.D. Wooden Spearguns

B.A.D. wooden spearguns are custom made on the West side of Hawaii Island.  Each speargun stock is three-piece-laminated with an integral spear track grooved into the stock.  Without the spear shaft these spearguns have positive buoyancy, allowing the diver to retrieve the gun easily after a shot and while holding the fish.

Each speargun has an extended sling holding section for use with multiple slings as shown below.

These spearguns also feature a 1/2" hole in the rear section so that the user can insert a ring for attachment to a floater or tagline.  The opening also allows the gun to be converted to a blue water rig by inserting surgical tubing into the opening and tying it to the shooting line (making it a breakaway shooting line rig).  Additional features include:  Aimrite trigger mechanism/handle/line anchor and a large butt pad in black or red.  Rear handle option shown below.

Each gun comes with a 9/32" diameter shaft with two "shark-fin" prongs on the butt end and an 18' 300 lb. black monofilament shooting line.

Models come in five sizes:  55", 56", priced at $399.99 and 57", 58 and 61" priced at $425.00.  Custom lengths are also available.  The speargun handle placement is also user choice:  mid-handle, rear- handle, semi-mid-handle and custom.
